Hello to all once again;
I have a Samsung Galaxy S running android 2.3.5 and it has started to act a little funny with me sometimes so i was thinking of doing a factory reset to clear out everything.I know i can redownload all of my purchased apps as long as i sing in with the same google account but my question is will i still be able to redownload my current subscription of my norton mobile security app or will i have to repurchase the app again?I ask because my current subscription has well over 300 days left and i want to make sure i dont loose it before i reset my phone.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi NKOTN1
You will not have to purchase Norton Mobile Security again.
If Norton Mobile Security was purchased from the online Norton Store all you need to
do is download again and activate with the product key you would have received with the
original purchase. Same goes for the retail pack if purchased from a retail store just
download the apk file and install and activate with your product key.
Norton Mobile Security apk file download-
www.norton.com/nms
If you purchased from the Android Market by upgrading the Norton Mobile Security Lite
application you will have to open the Market app on your device after the factory reset
and select Menu and My Apps to check if NMS is in there in the Not Installed section
of the list of Applications. If not download Norton Mobile Security Lite from the Android
Market and install and open the app to see if it will ask to upgarde to the full version?,
If it does do not purchase again as you will have to contact Norton Support Live Chat
for Free and they will be able to resolve the issue for you-
www.norton.com/chat
Just follow the steps and select Chat Now and make sure you have the details ready
being the Google Receipt for the original purchase of Norton Mobile Security from the
Android Market you would have received those details in a email from Google.
Let us know how you go as the feedback will be usefull for other NMS users with the
same question.
Cheers.

Hi NKOTN1
On the subject of Factory Resets there is a good app called Share My Apps-
ShareMyApps Android Market
It is a great app for factory resets, as you can open the app and select all of your
apps and share by Gmail and send a email to your Gmail account linked to the device.
In the email is a list of all apps installed on the device and each app in the list is a link.
So after the factory restet you open the email on your device with the Gmail app and
tap on a app in the list and by using the Market appto open the link which is what i do
it then takes you straight to the Android Market and the selected app and you can
download and install apps that way. It also allows you to share what sort of apps you
are using with freinds and also keep a record of the apps you use.
It will list in alphabetical order but you might have to open and close the ShareMyApps
appliaction 2 times before you select all apps and share. Test it out a couple of times and
also send a copy to a different email address as backup.
I do not use the Google backup system i prefer this way with my apps .It might be worth
a try give it a test and it is a free app and if you like it there is a donate version.
Cheers
