Yesterday I received a keylogger from running java on a fake website (not very smart). I then scanned my computer and Norton found one thing. I don't remember name of the file but it did not seem like a relevant name and was probably just named by the hacker. I proceeded to quarantine the virus and after that I ran the full virus scans two more times (found nothing) and I used Norton power eraser but that also found nothing. I also turned off my modem to reset my IP.
Question: am I safe? And does resetting my IP address do anything to help in this situation?
