Keyloggers

I'm having a hard time finding out if Nortons Internet Security or Virus Security programs are scanning for keyloggers.

Does anyone have experience with keyloggers and what can I do to make sure I don't have them?

Norton is effective against most keyloggers, as we have seen several users on the forum annoyed because their keylogger was quarantined.  There are signature defs for most of the known ones, plus Sonar is capable of detecting them heuristically.  The firewall is also very effective at preventing unauthorized programs from accessing the internet.  Having said all that, nothing is 100% effective all of the time.  New malicious code is written all the time, and much depends on your own security policies.

I just wanna make sure if you press

 

ctrl + alt + del and click on task manager and find *winlogon

if theres 2 "winlogon" that means theirs a keylogger?

Do you have Remote Desktop enabled?  Are both instances spelled exactly the same way?  Do you have more than one user?  When you look in task Manager, are they both under system, or is one under user?  If you check the file location (right click on the entry and choose file location) are they in the system 32 folder or somewhere else?
