just got off the phone with Norton Tech Support, and as of July 7, 2025, there is a known issue affecting the Norton Backup Drive.
Symptoms may include:
- Inability to view Cloud Backup Sets when logging into your Norton Account online.
- Inability to manage or access Backup Sets through the Norton 360 platform.
Norton Support indicated that a fix is expected within the next 24 hours.
In my opinion, Norton/Symantec should have proactively posted a notice about this issue across:
- The Norton 360 desktop interface
- The Norton Account login portal
- The Norton Services Status page (status.norton.com)
