Anyone using their Free version?
Any comments?
I'm not using the extension anymore but I still do have an account there with my passwords saved. Last time I did have the extension installed I was impressed and felt it was way better than the current version of Norton Identity Safe. IMHO.
Hi, Krusty13.
Does Last Pass have a local vault?
No, it is an online version only but it works better than Norton's ID Safe.
This is from their How It Works link.

Local-Only
Decryption
All sensitive data is encrypted and decrypted locally before syncing with LastPass. Your key never leaves your device, and is never shared with LastPass. Your data stays accessible only to you.
Thanks, Krusty13.
So, encrpyted/decrypted locally, but stored online?

Yep, that's how I believe it works.
Then I believe what you believe. Thanks.
Can one store ID/passwords on it but not automatically log in with them on selected sites?
At present I use a local "Safe", Password Keeper, that goes back in history but works fine for me. It only stores and doesn't log in.
I've found there's a "feature" on IE 11 that offers to remember and log in for me .... Anyone know how that works since it does not know about my Pasword Keeper? Where and how does it store the data?
