A while ago I started having problems typing in data in search boxes or documents etc. I wiuld start typing say search text and if I paused even for a second that search box would suddenly not respond to keyboard. A few seconds later it would accept input again. Sometimes the input box would drop out of focus completely. The mouse would also appear to lose control in dropdown menus and so forth. Whilst holding down the left button and scrolling down a menu list it would drop the mouse press randomly and you would have to start again. The problems got so bad the computer became unusable. I tracked the issue down to the Antivirus and or Behavioural protection. If I disabled these and left disabled until I turn on again this immediately fixed the issue, HOWEVER, after about half an hour the issue returns BECAUSE for some reason the Antivirus turns itself back on without my permission. When turned of the process uses pretty much 0% cpu under task manager but after it turns itself on, the usage goes back up to 5% or more and the keyboard becomes useless again.
I left feedback and the Norton tech rep wanted to remote access my machine which I an not a fan of. They can fix it some other way but they are not having access to my machine.
I have since rolled back to version 22.xxx.xxx and am now enjoying a trouble free experience.
I am using Windows 10
