Legacy version of CD

I have an iMac with OS 9.2. I'm trying to find a CD  as a start-up disk that I can use to fix a problem. " Norton file saver has detected a problem on the disk "Joyous 21". There is damage to the Alternate Volume Header Block (Error 16,065). You can use Norton Disk Doctor to repair the disk. Norton doesn't carry it (so they say). Anyone have one? Thanks.

Scott. I suppose what I am trying to ask is what are you attempting to do? Recover files, etc? There also appears to be a Joyous 1 and 21 drives named. Which one is the boot drive? Just trying to get clarification. NDD is non-existent unless you can find someone on E-bay with it, conversely. I wouldn't and don't trust E-bay in any manner.

I’m getting the error in the picture. And with the MacOS as far back as I can remember, 1990ish, you have to boot from a different drive in order to fix the boot drive. Since I can’t upload a picture it says, “ Norton FileSaver has detected a problem on the disk “Joyous 21”. There is damage to the Alternate Volume Header Block. (Error 16,065)
You can use Norton Disk Doctor to repair the disk.”.

My suggestion is give the NBRT Tool a shot. What exactly is the issue with the OS boot drive that you are trying to fix?

I understand that it hasn’t been available. I still have a NDD floppy somewhere, IOW I think someone out there may still a CD. Heck, I still have floppies of After Effects before they were swallowed by Adobe (& a dongle was required). Thanks for moving this to where other Mac users can see it.

I've asked this thread be moved to the Mac forum board for better exposure to Mac users.

One comment I can make is that Norton Disk Doctor has not been available for many, many, many years now.
