Legal implications of Norton Site review delays?

Hi there,

I am a webmaster and long ago signed up for a Norton review account, I did this in order to have norton verify my clients sites.

I follow all the Norton Guidlines in order to get my clients sites verified as safe. A few months back I noticed none of my verification checks were being verified, the checking proceedure seemd to stop all of a suddon anf nobody was checking my sites and passing them as OK.

It used to take about 1-2 weeks and I had no trouble in the past...

I submitted a ticket and nobody replied..

Today one of my clients asked can Norton legaly show a site as "not safe or untested" when the process has been implimented as per Nortons instructions, in effect Norton are giving reason for surfers to suspect the site could not be safe, my client asked do Norton by law have to validate a website within a certain time frame? My client thinks they are losing customers who doubt their sites safety..

I thought about it and can see my clients point of view, I have verified their site in accordance with Nortons instructions. The site however has "not" been marked as safe and my client could indeed be losing customers through no fault of their own.

I probably have about 8 sites that have been waiting for at least 2 months, can anyone give any feedback on this and also does anyone have a contact email for Norton instead fo the "Form" that does not seem to reach anyone..

Many thanks
