Legitimate Norton products delivered as malware... Not impressed...

I'm kinda curious as to why your product was downloaded onto my computer and installed with an internet plugin AGAINST MY WISHES and WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I do read every detail of everything I install, including EULAs, etc. The last thing I installed was a video plugin for google chrome and that was the only thing I had downloaded or installed in that particular time I had the computer running, and then the next day I see norton security scan loading when I boot up my computer. I'm rather unimpressed I'm getting malware from legitimate corporations, and after this, I will never use a symantec product again, despite my university giving students product licenses for one of your products. This is conduct I do not agree with on any level, it is invasive, and should have never occurred.

Anyways, this rant is because I am not at all impressed with this, I will not be returning to check for replies, because honestly, I just don't care. I'm pretty sure I'll be publicly vocal about this, and recommend my friends against Symantec products, etc. This just reminds me too much of malware I've seen installed when, for example, I've downloaded a hacked disc image of a piece of software because I've lost my disc, but have the cd key (and use the key rather than a crack/hack/whatever that came with it). Thankfully. unlike most people, I know enough about what I'm doing to fix the problems I create, and I am thankful that your product was easily removed, although I am now running anti malware software just in case, along with my other scans. I honestly think as a corporation, Symantec needs to be more professional than to force their product on people without their permission, its morally and ethically wrong.
