For reasons that are not entirely clear, my Norton Antivirus software will occasionally deactivate itself (No longer start on startup). If it does not re-activate with restarting the system (MAC). I have uninstalled and re-installed the software. The last time I did this, and yest I did fallow the instructions (unstall using Norton uninstaller, re-install using downloaded installer then restarting the system after install) I get the following error message. It appears to me and I have verified this by looking at my other sytems that run this software that the installer is not creating the approriate SymLicensing.frameworks directory and ist associated symbolic links. I can work arround this roughly by coping this file from another system computer however, the actual licesing file appears to be machine dependent and will not allow the software to run under the correct licence. Any thoughts?
