I had 4 of 5 licenses used on my Norton 360 Deluxe account. I did a factory reset on my smartphone so I had to re-install Norton Mobile Security. This used up the fifth license and meant I had two licenses for the the same device. I deleted the old license for the smartphone from my Norton account, but after a month all four of my devices still say that 5 of 5 licenses have been used. Why has it not updated to 4 of 5 licenses?

There is often a discrepancy between the Devices and Subscription pages. Norton does not seem to be able to figure out how to sync those two pages. The My Subscriptions page has almost always been correct.
Thanks for your reply. I removed the duplicate from the Device Security section- I didn't realise I had to remove it from the My Subscription section. I have now done this and it now says 4 of 5 licenses used. Hopefully all my devices will say the same thing soon. Thanks for your help.
In your Norton Account under My Subscriptions, is that showing 4 of 5 activations?
Did you remove the duplicate from My Subscriptions or My Devices? The My Subscriptions should be what Norton is reporting in the individual products.
