Lifelock included with USCCA?

I am a member of USCCA. They tell me that my USCCA membership now includes Lifelock membership. The email says I should cancel Lifelock and create a new account with USCCA paying the new membership.

Has anyone done this?

Thanks

Hello @Fred_Uptagrafft
As of February 2026, USCCA has partnered with Norton LifeLock to include a complimentary identity theft protection membership (valued at approximately $124) for its members.

How to Transition Your Account
If you already have a paid LifeLock subscription, the transition usually involves these steps:

  • Do Not Cancel Immediately: In many partnership transitions, existing LifeLock members can have their accounts automatically “transitioned” to the benefit membership once they enroll through the partner portal.
  • Check the USCCA Dashboard: Log in to your USCCA Member Dashboard to find the specific enrollment link for the LifeLock benefit.
  • Automatic Transition: If you use the same information (like your Social Security Number) for the new benefit enrollment, LifeLock often identifies the existing account and transitions it automatically, sometimes providing a pro-rated refund for your remaining paid term.
  • Manual Cancellation (If Needed): If an automatic transition doesn’t occur, you can cancel your existing paid subscription through the Norton LifeLock Membership Portal or by calling their support at 1-800-543-3562.

Important Precautions

  • Verify the Email: Ensure the email came from an official @uscca.com or @deltadefense.com address. Scammers frequently use fake LifeLock renewal notices to steal personal information.
  • Avoid Third-Party Links: For security, navigate directly to USCCA.com to access the benefit rather than clicking links in an unexpected email.
  • Customer Support: If you encounter issues linking the accounts, you can contact USCCA Support at 877-677-1919.

=============================================

As of February 2026, the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) has indeed introduced a partnership with Norton LifeLock to provide its members with a complimentary identity theft protection membership.

Key Details of the Partnership:

  • Included Benefit: The identity theft protection is provided as an “included” or “free” benefit for USCCA members.
  • Valuation: The complimentary membership is valued at approximately $124.
  • Plan Type: The benefit specifically includes the LifeLock Core plan.
  • Features: This plan typically provides personal data and credit monitoring, fraud alerts, and access to identity restoration specialists. It also includes the “Million Dollar Protection Package” for reimbursement of stolen funds and personal expenses.
  • Activation: Members can often find the offer at the top of their USCCA sign-in page to activate the protection.

This addition is part of a broader trend of USCCA enhancing its member benefits to address modern risks like cybercrime and digital fraud, which have seen significant increases in recent years.

===========================================

Many USCCA members are currently discussing and enrolling in the Norton LifeLock identity theft protection benefit, which is valued at approximately $124. The offer has appeared for many members at the top of their USCCA sign-in page.

Key Details of the USCCA Benefit

  • Coverage: The plan typically includes identity and Social Security number alerts, one-bureau credit monitoring, and access to U.S.-based restoration specialists.
  • Protection Package: Higher-tier memberships often include a Million Dollar Protection™ Package, covering up to $1 million for lawyers/experts and varying amounts (up to $1 million) for stolen funds reimbursement.
  • Device Security: Some versions of the benefit also provide Norton 360 features, such as antivirus for PCs/Macs and a Secure VPN for online privacy.

Member Perspectives
Community sentiment is currently mixed:

  • Advocates see it as a high-value addition (estimated $124 value) that makes the USCCA membership more worthwhile in a digital age.
  • Skeptics express concerns about providing sensitive personal data to another third party or report that Norton’s software can sometimes slow down computer performance.
  • Existing Users of other services often check if their bank already provides similar monitoring before signing up.

How to Activate
If you decide to take advantage of the offer, you generally need to:

  1. Log in to your USCCA Member Portal to find the specific activation link or notification.
  2. Verify Your Identity on the Norton setup page (usually Norton - My Subscription).
  3. Merge Accounts: If you already have a retail Norton/LifeLock account, you can typically merge it by signing in with your existing credentials during the activation process.
