Limitations with Norton Family

I chatted with a Norton rep today and he suggested that I add my comments to this forum.

 

I find Norton family to be quite limited.  Here is what I would like:

I would like my children to be able to choose which technology they use throughout the day but limit the total technology time to a set limit (with the children using whichever device they want up to the time limit).  This is not possible with the current Norton parameters.

I would also like to be able to block apps from being used on their laptop, which is to be used for school use only.  Currently only url's can be blocked.

The only way to set up separate time limits for each device is to add another child profile.  Can this not be done under one profile?  I find it inconvenient to have to set up additional profiles for each device that they use.

You can add more than one device to a single child profile and you can set time limits for each device. Please check the following help links for more details.

We would pass on the requirement to support time restrictions at child level to our management.

NF Windows agent doesn't support apps monitoring currently, we would pass on this requirement as well to our management.
