How can Norton help with the non stop phishing calls from “Lisa at Chase”. I have blocked countless phone numbers but get a call from a new number almost daily. Surely this is part of device security. What can Norton do to help block this?

You obviously have a very strong feeling about this, and there is nothing I can say that is going to change the decision Norton has taken on this. I'll leave it to others to make any further comments
Last line first, the bottom line is Norton does not think it worthwhile despite there being countless phishing, mishing and scam involving bogus texts loaded with malware in the wild. I don’t accept this “bottom line” explanation.
I have been on the receiving end of two. The last one, the scammer used the actual phone number of Dell, complete with call center background noise. I had had a warranty with Dell at the time. During a remote session to yet again fix their computer, It was only after I saw the person try to open my banking app that I realised how susceptible we are!! Thats how close it can get. I doubt you have been close to anything like that…given your defense of Norton. For me it’s one of the reasons I pay for Norton security. What will it take for Norton to act? I suspect not soon enough… in my mind there are only 2 type of people. Those who were scammed and those who will be…virus, malware, phishing, mishing etc…with everything moving online it is in all our futures. I just want more bang for my buck! Come on Norton!
First question I would like to ask. How is a telemarketer trying to call you an security risk?
As for a telemarketer phone list, these telemarketers mask their actual phone numbers and just make up a number. I have even seen the caller id show up saying my own number was calling me.
And call blocking can only start after the first time the telemarketer's phone number tries to call your phone. How can anyone protect against that.
The bottom line on call blocking is that Norton has decided to get out of that as it is a duplication of a service already offered by the Android OS. Maybe you need to try contacting Google with your questions and suggestions.

In answer to your question, I don't know how Norton can block a number that changes everytime but would bet they could if they just tried and made an attempt. The very act would give us hope and make me feel a little more secure having all those important apps that were are obliged these days to keep on on our smartphones.
I pay for Norton for what they call "Norton 360 - All-in-one protection" (Norton's words) and think that these calls come under the heading of "all in one protection" of my device. Times change rapidly in the digital world and the bots can easily escalate their intrusions as their technology advances. My sincere wish is Norton keeps up !!
How about a live register of all hoax, telemarkerteting and phishing calls. A database that can be kept and maintained by Norton through their millions of customers apps?

At the end of the day, I feel I am not getting what I pay for and it isn't "Norton 360 - All-in-one protection".
There is no security concern with telemarketing phone calls. They cannot connect to your device to cause any issues. They are just annoying, and depending on your cell plan they may cost you some minutes.
How would you suggest that any call blocker can help when the number is different every time?
Lisa is a bot! Calls once a day from all over the country. Impossible to block with standard android tools. As it involves device security why doesn’t Norton provide help?

Do you deal with Chase Bank? If so, call them and ask to be taken off call lists. If not, there is nothing any app can do to stop someone from calling you. Especially if they use different numbers each time.
