Little yellow icon on the toolbar, where did it go?

I used to get a little yellow icon on my bottom toolbar that would indicate either a green check mark or amber if I needed to scan. It no longer shows up. How can I turn it back on or get it to show up on my lower tool bar?

In Win 7, right click taskbar, select proerties, click Customise.

Scroll to Symantec Service Framework.

In the dropdown, select  'Show Icon and Notification'.

Then click OK.

In Windows XP

Right click taskbar, select Properties,

Make sure the 'Hide inactive Icons' box is not ticked

If you change it, click 'Apply' then OK.
