Hi,
If I manually run Live Update on my Samsung Galaxy S5 while connected to my home broadband connection NMS cannot connect to the server, but if I run Live Update on the mobile network it runs and completes.
This has only recently started and previously did not have a problem no matter which network I used.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.
Good news.
Keep an eye on it for us.
After changing the DNS settings in my router to use Norton ConnectSafe this looks to be solved.
Thanks!
After doing a little investigating it may be possible that this issue is caused by my ISPs DNS servers. I have had problems accessing some sites on my PCs lately too.
Peter,
I just ran Live Update while connected to my home network and it ran fine, although there didn't appear to be any new updates available. For now I'll put it down to a temporary server issue and monitor the situation for a while.
Cheers.
Yes, I can browse OK, it appears just to be Live Update while connected to my network. I'll try again shortly and clear the app cache if required.
Thanks.
Hi Krusty13
I just ran a manual LiveUpdate on my HTC phone with no problems. It could be local server issues. But as you say it has started recently, it could be something else.
Have you tried restarting the phone?
If it does not clear up soon, you could try clearing the app cache in Android Settings - Apps. If that does not help, clear the App Data. You will have to sign back into your account after clearing the data.
EDIT
Forgot to ask if all other internet connections are working from the phone?
