You might try a real shutdown and reboot.  This may fix your problem as some updates will not install until you reboot.  Worth a try.

If a reboot doesn't clear the problem please reply and let us know.

Hello,

The issue just started about a week ago. I have Live Update set to download updates automatically. Everytime I return from standby, Live Update wants to run...and it says the last time it was ran was on 8.2.08.  It runs fine, downloads and installs all of the updates that it says are needed and says live update session is complete. I close it and think it's fine...but then like I said, next time I return from standby it wants to run again...it downloads and installs the same updates again. It still shows the last time it was updated was 8.2.08.

Windows XP

Live Update v3.4.1.232

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Normally there are more updates per day. So I don’t think there is any problem
