Live update not completing

I have Internet security 2011 and when i use live update it will find, download, but will continue to process update's for hour's. I allowed it to run all night and still did not complete. It seems to "freeze up" my computer and I have a brand new computer. How can I tell if it is actually updating when i do not use live update?

Ran norton Utilities and restarted my computer!  seems to working now!   Thanks

Hi,Geo S. Try the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool which will give you a clean copy again.

It will likely give you v 22.9, as v 22.0 is still being throttled.

After the reinstall, run Live Update manually until no more are found and then RESTART.
