I don't know what happened. I installed NIS 2009 from Norton's website on another machine without any problems.
I entered my product key and it said 365 days. Perfect.
I clicked on Run Live Update for the first time and it had 10 updates coming in.
When it got to "4 of 10", everything froze and had to turn off the machine.
When I turn it back on it says boot disc failure insert system disk and also a mirror error with the disc?
There is no windows xp pro cd or recovery cd.
We are not very familiar with these kinds of problems so now its off to the technician.
No good deed goes unpunished.
Anyone know what the problem was and what could have been done?
