Running a netbook with Windows XP SP3, Ghost 14 and SP3.
1. Installed Norton Ghost 14 and ran Live Update. Live Update runs properly but indicates that Ghost 14 is up to date when in fact it is NOT. Why, because I have Ghost 14 installed on another machine running XP SP3 and Live Update downloaded and updated Ghost to a later version . How do you get Live Update to recognize that the Norton product is not actually the latest version?
2. Also, any feedback why after running several backups of C: and subsequent automated incremental backups on 3 different machines (2/XP, 1/Vista) with 3 different external hard drives, the ability to run another incremental backup of the drive meets the dreaded 1% reconciling issue (stalls out) which prevents any further incremental backups to that set? As a workaround, the only way to backup is to delete the restore points and start over.
