I have Norton Internet Security 2010. I am also on dial-up. This issue started about a week ago. I noticed that IS wasn't updated so I ran live update manually. It never finishes. I let it run overnight and it was still on the looking for updates step. I tried disconnecting the internet and it still runs. I tried canceling it and it keeps asking if I want to cancel. I have to reboot to close live update
I tried unintalling and reinstalling, and that worked, for a while. Norton starting doing the samething again. It's getting old having to uninstall and reinstall just to get live update to work.
Is there any suggestions?
