I have Norton Antivirus Mac Version 11.1.1(2). I have set Live Update to automatically update at 10 PM every night using Symantec Scheduler. Despite setting this to update "All Products", Live Update will not automatically update. I have tried everything. I have deleted the scheduled update, and re-added it. I have set it to update only "Norton Antivirus" or "Virus Definitions". I have changed the scheduled time and frequency. No matter what I do, Live Update will not launch at the scheduled time. If I manually launch Live Update and click "Update Everything Now", it works fine and everything updates.
Is there something wrong with my Live Update application? Is there a hidden setting I need to change?
Thanks in advance.
Ryan,
All of these conditions are met. I am logged in as administrator and my computer is connected to internet using a wireless router.
Any thoughts?

1. Download GatherSymantecInfo.zip from:
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/tools/mactools/GatherSymantecInfo.zip
2. Expand GatherSymantecInfo.zip using Appleās archive utility (other programs may not expand with proper permissions):
/System/Library/CoreServices/BOMArchiveHelper (OS 10.4)
/System/Library/CoreServices/Archive Utility (OS 10.5/10.6)
3. In GatherSymantecInfo folder, double-click GatherSymantecInfo.command.
4. When prompted, enter your computer user password.
5. When prompted for a subscription key, simply press return.
6. Attach the generated SymantecInfo.txt file to your reply.
If the SymantecInfo.txt file is too large to attach here or you're not comfortable posting it here, contact me with a private message and I'll send you my e-mail address.
Check whether your product is already up to date. If your product has already the latest protection, it will not update further.
Unless I manually update, the product will not update. I have waited up to 3 weeks to see if the product updates using Symantec Scheduler, and it won't. But as soon as I click "Update Everything Now", it updates just fine and downloads a very large file.
