Sometime after 6/13/13 there was a LiveUpdate release that requires PC Restart if you run LiveUpdate manually. It removes the SafeWeb Button on the lower right of the NIS Interface, so you can no longer paste URL's there to check if Safe. I can go to the Norton SafeWeb Website, but that takes much longer, especially with dialup. I have a Ghost Image dated 6/13/13 that I can restore in Recovery Environment that brings back the SafeWeb Button. This LiveUpdate bug is repeatable. Until the bug is fixed, I will revert to NIS 2012 and hope it's not there too.
This is on WinXP SP3 32-bit Home Edition. Have not checked my Vista and Win7 PCs yet for this bug.
