Liveupdate Fails to Complete for Norton Security Suite on Windows 10

I have tried every solution I have been able to find elsewhere in the forums, short of going through every posting, one by one, to solve this problem. I have Norton Security Suite from Xfinity running on a Windows 10 PC. LiveUpdate checks ok, downloads ok, but does not process the updates. The only error message I receive states "Failed to complete" under the status column in the Liveupdate window. There is no error number or any other information provide. I have already restarted my system multiple times. I have uninstalled and reinstalled directly from Xfinity/Norton. LiveUpdate still will not process the updates. The current version of Security Suite is shown as 22.8.0.50. Please help me fix this. I encountered this same problem when I initially upgraded to Windows 10 over a year ago, but resolved the problem with the steps I listed above. The problem has returned and the fixes listed above will not resolve it this time.
