Recently had to install the OS again after a hard drive failure on my laptop. Installed Firefox, Norton's, system drivers and such as Admin. Set up my user account which is also admin of the system. Norton's isn't working properly under my login. The live update will run, check for updates, download updates but it will not process them without a human pushing the OK button to process. Verified all my settings against my other system to make sure I didn't have something set wrong to stop the update process from finishing. If I don't manually update Norton's will crash and shut down. I've never had this issue. The only difference is my laptop is running version 20.6.027 and my other system is running 21.7.0.11. I was running version 20 when the hard drive went out so not sure why I have this problem now. Also if I have Firefox open when it runs live update Firefox will close and Norton's will crash and close. Any ideas? Running Win 7 64 bit Professional. Nothing on this system other than Norton's and Firefox version 38 so it isn't a program conflict.
