LiveUpdate only works with users that have Administrator rights. Regular Users currently receive the error message "LU1825: LiveUpdate could not understand how to install this update. You may need to get the latest version of LiveUpdate before you can install this update."
The most recent version of LiveUpdate has been installed, and running Product Inventory Update (piupdate.exe) reported no problems.
LU1825 is only the most recent in a series of errors. Previous errors led The problem is truly tied to User rights being insufficent to allow LiveUpdate to be run.
Is there a true fix that allows LiveUpdate to be run by a member of the Users group?
