While I was reading through a lot of the Norton Internet Security / Norton AntiVirus Posts, I found and watched a video about several places to look for Malware activity (I haven't been able to find that video again...). I enjoyed the video and after watching it, I started checking my PC. I did find this listing: HKCU (AT) sign S-15-21-3625832830-3196217705-1541272712-1007\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\\*LogMeInRescue_1170642182. It shows it is in C:Windows\LMI42.tmp\lmi_rescue.exe. I think the video suggested being leery of programs that "Run Once". Some Googled sites showed lmi_rescue as "Dangerous" others show it as nothing to worry about. It was even listed on some of the "Norton Other Forums", but they suggested downloading a third party file to run a scan.. I don't know if I want to do that or not.
Microsoft Window Defender was the only program that picked up on it. A search through Symantec and Microsoft found no information. The Symantec on-line scan didn't find anything.
Is this nothing to worry about or should I remove it?
