Loading from a thumb drive

I just purchased 360 V4 but did not download it yet since  the computer is still without a active virus protection. ITt took me a weekend to get all the virus' off. Is there a way to download 360 V4 to a thumb drive from another computer, load onto the  formally infected computer and then run the live updates. I'm new at this so a step-by-step explanation would be greatly appreciated.

 

I was told that its better not to try to download it from the web directly. I may get attacked before getting my computer defenses up
