Local Backup

I have created 2 local backups but cannot activate them or even see info regarding them, need help with

  1. What I’m backing up
  2. Where is it going
    The old system before this upgrade was user friendly

you may need to re-plug your local ext drive
are you finding No local backups created yet?
are you finding Local backupsManage &or Restore?
are you Local backups → DAS or NAS?
are you finding Drive disconnected

Norton LiveUpdate + Restart (not Shut down) machine

If your Norton is not working as expected and you’ve tried Troubleshooting → Reset to Default &or Repair Norton & clean re-install Norton 360…then…reach out to Norton support.
Note: Reset to Default resets Cloud Backup

Download and run the Norton 360 Remover tool for Windows here

Maybe, try Troubleshooting → Record a performance issue &or Enable/Send debug logs

Maybe, think of Norton Cloud Backup as supplement to your primary/secondary backup solutions.

The 3-2-1 Backup Rule

  1. You should have three copies of your data at all times — one original, and two backups.
  2. Both backups should be on different storage mediums.
  3. One backup should be stored offsite.
