Log Facebook and Gmail Chats

I have been using NOF for almost 2 years now, and was part of the original beta test.  Every few months I would ask why other products can log Facebook and Gmail chats, yet NOF cannot? And each time I was told that it is something being looked into, and will be part of an upcoming release. Now, almost two years later, I see a Premium version is here for a cost, yet I don't see that it still will log Facebook and/or Gmail chats.  I would GLADLY pay for it if it would do these two simple things!  I say 'simple' because I know of two other products that will log, and I currently use one of them - Sentry Parental Controls. I would rather just use one product, but I have to use it in conjunction with NOF because NOF doesn't do everything I wished it did.

 

I tried using the online chat to ask about this, and was told I needed to have a case number created, and put on 'hold' several times and it seemed like it was a very difficult question for the chat rep to answer. It's a yes or no. Does the premium version log Facebook and Gmail chats, and if not, why? and When will it?

Again, I don't deny the fact that this is a real good suggestion. But what would be the objective of having such a feature in NOF?

NOF claims to enable you to watch what your kids are doing online. Most older kids are chatting online and using Facebook and Google to do it.  I currently use another product that allows me to view the chats when any specific keyword or user is mentioned.  It has come in handy several times  and it would totally complete NOF's objectives quite nicely.

I need to see what my thirteen year old is writiing better and cannot see it with this product Norton Online Family. Once I accidentally opened his log in on win xp and right there was a girl telling my son, "I want you in me"

 

There is something wrong that I cannot see facebook chatting.

 

I cannot also see his Hotmail emails with this product, all I see is a login page.

HERE HERE! The fact that I can not monitor what my teenage daughter’s private Facebook conversations is the reason I will NOT renew Norton Online Family. What GOOD is it to know they are on facebook? I KNOW they are on Facebook, they have my permission but I’d like to see conversations that my daughter deletes after she has them. Ditto for Yahoo! IM chats. “working on it” isn’t going to help me at the end of my subscription.
