Hi there!
Im looking for the log files that are created after norton makes a scan to my computer. if been checking the manual, but I didnt find anything related with it. Also I check google but it redirects me to non related problems or useless info.
So I wonder if you could help me with this issue.
Thanks in advance!

Hi John_Smith
Welcoem to the Norton Community Forums
Open Norton, click on "History", and the choose "Scan Results" from the drop-down box.
Thank you for the welcome ^^
There is any way to auto generate the log file, or get it without clicking? I wanna access it by comand promp (w7). With the comand Navw32.exe I am just able to scan a single file, but I cannot put the log in a .txt
Thanks again :D
Hi John_Smith
I have checked the list of command-line switches and I am not aware of a way to do that via the command prompt.
History files can be exported as .txt files from within the Norton programme.
Ok, at last I got it :D
Use cmd and move to the path of this folder: C:\<Somewhere>\Norton Antivirus\Engine\<Version_Number>
Use this comand to scan a file or a folder: Navw32.exe <path to scan>
This comand will make you a log file: MCVI32.exe /export <log path> /category <category number>
Category number is expendable, it uses a number from 1 to 14 as parameter. The category num '1' is the option I use, because it only put the last scaned files on that file in a txt format
I hope anyone else found this info useful ^^
Thanks again!
