Everyday NIS seems to be logging me out of websites that I normally stay logged in to. For example I have logged back in to several sites this morning, and clicked "keep me logged in", such as Netflix and Fastmail. I will be logged in whenever I open IE throughout the day until NIS runs it's daily system scan and then I will have to re enter all my passwords for many sites again. This started last week after Windows 7 upgraded my IE from 9 to 10. I checked in IE 10 and everything seems to be set as usual in the options. Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem (see my post this subject titled "Quick Scan & Cookies"). I also just updated to IE10, so there lis likely a correlation there?????
It certainly seems like IE10 and NIS are not playing well together. This started right after Windows Update installed IE10 on my PC, and it happenns like clockwork right after my daily scan.
I don't claim to be a tech expert, but it seems like NIS is removing all the cookies and data stored on my PC from sites like Youtube, Netflix, Amazon, Google and others during scans. It's not the same as if I simply chose to log out. Even after I log back in to video sites like Daily Motion the history list is empty, like I have never been to the site before. I've been using IE along with Norton products for many years but this is the 1st time I've ever experienced this.
That is exactly what is happening to me.....I need to log into every site I visit, and it started when I installed the Windows update to IE10 as well. Wonder if it is possible to go back to IE9 ??????? Thanks, Paul
Well, I "uninstalled" the Windows update for IE10, it reverted back to IE9, and the problem went away. Seems Microsoft has a bug in 10 that causes the problem we have been experiencing. Hope this helps! Paul
