Login Issues android app and website & takes 5+ min to load the page when tabs are clicked

When you try to login to your account from the website you may get in instantly or it may time out giving you a server unavailable message or it may go through up to 10 min later. 

 

Once logged finally logged in you will have to wait 5+ min for the page to refresh when any link that has to do with you Norton family account. And will some times cause your browser to stop responding.

 

On a android device the app can be opened and when you attempt to login it will state loading for about 3 or 4 min then it will drop you out to your home screen and place red text at the top of the screen stating that there was a communications error with the server.

 

I believe that this is affecting the monitoring service as well but can't confirm at this time.

 

Spoke with Norton support via chat. After 20 min of troubleshooting my account and being transferred to 2 different techs I was informed that the system is experiencing problems and there should be a maintenance message posted shortly.  After the support tech asked what I wanted I responded a credit for the amount of time that it was down and it needs to be posted on the sign up page that if the servers are experiencing problems your child is not protected.

 

There should have been emails sent out as soon as problems were noticed and a eta on the fix provided. This is a waste of my $50 that was supposed to protect my child. Instead IM left in the dark spending valuable time contacting support and left with no eta of a fix.
