Thanks for point that out.  We are reviewing a possible solution.  I’ll post back when I know more.

We have made a behavior change.  

 

The name that displays on a blog comments is under user control and is attached to your profile privacy selection.  This can be found by clicking 'My Profile' in the top left section of the page and then selecting the preferences tab.

 

  • If you have never made a change to this area of your preferences, the forum default behavior is NONE.
  • The following choices are available:
  1. None: 
    			Do not allow anyone to view your profile</LI><LI><EM><STRONG>Friends only:</STRONG></EM> 
				
			Allow only people on your friends list to view your profile</LI><LI><EM><STRONG>All: </STRONG></EM>
				
			Allow everyone to view your profile</LI></OL><UL><LI>After making a change here, please be sure to scroll to the bottom of the section and and click the <EM><STRONG>Save</STRONG></EM> button.</LI></UL><UL><LI>It should be noted that under the setting of <EM><STRONG>NONE</STRONG></EM> a basic profile (without personal information) is still displayed.&nbsp; </LI></UL><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Setting <EM><STRONG>Friends only</STRONG></EM> or <EM><STRONG>All </STRONG></EM>adds additional information from the "Personal Profile" tab of your 'My profile'. &nbsp; The <EM><STRONG>Friends</STRONG></EM> or <EM><STRONG>All</STRONG></EM> setting will also cause your "real name" to be displayed on blog comments, <EM><STRONG>None</STRONG></EM> (or the default) will cause your screen name to be attached to blog comments.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P><FONT size="1"><EM><STRONG>(All Fields of your profile are always available to Administrators and Moderators and may be made available to Symantec employee's)</STRONG></EM></FONT> </P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P>
