I recently purchased a logitech harmony 650 remote. In order to set up the remote, you have to download software called logitech myharmony. This is legit software that was downloaded directly from logitech and scanned by norton. But when I start the program, it tries to create a completely harmless file which Norton flags as malicious. It marks it as trogan.gen.npe and quarantines it. I emailed norton to get them to allow this file, but unfortunately, norton allows each file individually and this program numbers each file consecutively, which means norton allows file 0009, but the next time I open the software, norton blocks file 0010. How do I get norton to allow this entire program as well as the temp file? Otherwise, the program will not run, and I cannot setup my remote, which negates buying it.
