Norton 360 V5 shuts down the Logitech Squeezebox server when the firewall is running. Looks to be traffic on the internal network between the touch screen and the computer holding the music files. This was not a problem until V5.

        Ports 3483/9000/9090

Anyone know how to allow this traffic ?????

Why are my posts always deleted and appear as empty when sent form IE9?

There is an issue with the forums and IE9 that is currently being addressed. In the meantime you should run IE9 in Compatibility Mode when accessing the forums and that will avoid the issue of blank posts. Go to Tools and then tick Compatibility Mode.

I have the access set to allow and the server still dies after 20 seconds.

We've seen that your Squeezebox Server is configured to use a proxy server. In this configuration connectivity to mysqueezebox.com on port 3483 can't be tested.

Try to create a new firewall rule to allow all communication with the server through the specific ports:

Then move the rule to the top of the list, and check if the issue persists.
