Long Delays between Sending and Receiving Requests

Mt child just informed me that he had run out of time for the day.  We tried requesting more several times, but the requests have not yet come through (it has been 30+ minutes), so I used the PIN.  While reviewing his account, I realized that Norton says he had used 6.7 hours today, when he was allowed 9.  So this leaves us with 2 issues:

1) Why does it take so long to get requests from his laptop (in my lap) to my phone (in my hand)?

2) Why is Norton locking his laptop when it says he still has over two hours of time left?

Welcome to Norton Family Forum. 

1) From your house rules, We could see that your child has been allowed to use the PC only until 8 PM beyond which the system will be automatically locked as it is blocked hours.

2)Due to a temporary backend glitch the request might have got delayed. Kindly check if this issue happens repeatedly, We can troubleshoot further.
