I just couldnt deal anymore, my new (jan) laptop was running great on nis 2011 ( ive used nis since late 06) and then last week or so the ie and fox wouldnt function right (fox actually started today not even newest vers).
Most of the time it wouldnt open at all and would have to be killed in task manager.
I tried everything I was told all up to date no other security that runs live was ever on this laptop but norton.
It runs 32 bit browsers but it seems those mostly w/ win 7 64 bit have issues on my readings.
I dont have time to constantly troubleshoot everytime I go online. Without norton all is fine, its not safe to run with out intrus prev according to forum so I finally bit the bullet and loaded another security program, It runs fine now.
Im bummed, Ive depended on norton for so many years but oh well. Just thought Id post incase those in the seats to fix such things want to know. My subscript runs out in about a month as of now Im done unless I start seeing posts saying its diff for certain.
Why do other programs run fine but norton wont?
Anyway thats my story for whoever cares.
