Longer subscription periods?

Hello, I'm a new Norton user, just bought a subscription to NIS and have been enjoying it so far. :smileyhappy:

I was curious if there is anyway to get longer subscription periods? The longest I could find is three years off the Symantec store. Is there anyway to get longer like four year, five year, or a lifetime subscription?

You don't actually say which Norton product you are using but hoping and assuming it is Norton Internet Security you can buy 1 & 3 year subscription versions as you discovered:

but I've not come across and longer term versions.

However note that rather than renew on line with Norton it may be cheaper each year to go out and buy retail or on line from a reputable source a physical copy and just use the KEY as your existing subscription nears its end.

You can buy when discounts are good sometimes for $20 or less and sometimes even get an upograders rebate from Norton on top of that! It doesn't matter if you see 2011 on sale but won't want to renew until 2012 is out since the KEYS do not expire.

But unlike on line renewal, the time you buy is not added to any unexpired time but replaces it so if you buy a copy to use the KEY don't apply it until a couple of days before your subscription expires.

Hope that helps -- see if anyone from Norton comes in with more information once the holidays are over and they catch up.
