Welcome to the Norton Community Forum

If you have a current subscription for 2010, you can upgrade for free to the 2011 version. Please tell us if you want NAV or NIS please. Thanks.

Sorry I dont understand the Nav or Nis part, please explain.

Hello Tartdog

Are you looking for Norton Antivirus or Norton Internet Security program? Which program is your key for?

Hi,

Thanks for your time and response,my PC came with a trial version of Norton 17.7.0.12 and I recently paid to extend the subscription,I have the new key with me here, but due to a major problem with my PC I have lost everything,I am trying to find a version 17.7.0.12 then I can enter my new key into it.thanks.

Norton Internet Security.

Hello Tartdog

Since you have a new key, you can download NIS 2011 and use the new key to activate that. Here is the link for NIS 2011 This way you will have the newest version running. The key you have from NIS 2010 is also good on NIS 2011.

You're welcome. Please come back and let us know how you made out with the new version.

Hi everything is OK now, well nearly.I have installed the latest version activated it with my key,all OK.My problem now is I seem to have lost the norton toolbar and card login part that used to be visable at the top of the page, can't seem to be able to find it,any ideas please.Tartdog.

Have you reboted the machine since the installation?  Have you also checked in sttings to make sure that the safe web and identity safe are enabled?

Hi, thanks for your reply, yes I have rebooted the PC since, and I can't find anywhere in the settings tab any mention of "safe web" or "identity safe" I am using version 18.1.0.37,windows 7 64bit system, firefox browser, pleae advice,cheers.Tartdog.

I now realise my problem apparantly I have bought Anti Virus and not Norton Internet Security.Tartdog.
