Lose access to WiFi printers after a period of time

I don't know if this is a Windows 10 issue or Norton Security Deluxe.  I have two wifi printers which I can access and use from either of my computers, both running Norton Internet Security Deluxe.  (My subscription comes up in 21 days, so an answer to this question will determine whether I renew or not.)  When I first start the computer or the printers, they are available to print on.  however, after some random amount of time, neither is available.  Sometimes it's one, sometimes it's both.  Given enough time, neither will be available (time is measured in hours, ueually less than 12.)  In order to print again, I have to repower the printer I want to use, which will put it back on the network and available.  Specifics:

Both computers:  Windows 10 Home (latest update, Ver 1607); Brother HL2270DW laser printer, Canon MG-3520 inkjet.  

Any pointers or suggestions would be helpful!  These all worked just fine until a few months ago, and now it has become a major hassle every time I need to print.  Soon I'll add a wifi document scanner, and if it has the same issues it is really going to be painful.  Thanks in advance.
