Bought a new HP laptop with OEM 60 day trial of NIS on Aug 12. As of 1 hour ago I had 42 days left on the trial. I downloaded the latest version and suddenly I only have 14 days left on my trial??? I distinctly read (somewhere) that upgrading versions was not supposed to change my expiration date, but apparently that is not correct. Had I known that this would happen I wouldn't have upgraded.
1. Can I get my 28 days back???
2. If I decide in 14 (or hopefully 42) days to activate NIS (considering ZA Extreme instead) will my upgrade to the -soon to be released NIS 2010- be free?
