Lost customer from unacceptable customer service

  I had my computer crash and had to re program the harddrive, I contacted online support to reload my software for Norton anti virus. I let him into my computer and then watched for almost 2 hours as he could attempted to load the software  which he was unable to do. He then informed me he needed to pass me on to a fee based service as he thought I had a virus which I stated my displeasure and then was transfered. At this point I now had no protection at all since it had been removed from my computer by the first person I let try to load the software. So now I am on to the next person who of coarse was informed of nothing from the first and now I am taking more time to answer what I have already stated. In the end again wanted to charge me more to find a virus I was not even sure was there that if I did have one the software let it into my machine to begin with. So with no protection and my driver from my printer now gone and an AOL icon now on my screen I ended the trouble shooting and any more use of any products from Symantec. I have used Norton for years now and had just renewed in April but will never again. I went to another company and downloaded with no problem. In the world today customer service should be at the top of your list, instead I had AOL added to my computer and any protection taken away without any concern from your techs. I will never use any of your products again, will tell everyone I can about the customer service I received from you, that if they do use your software to change as soon as possible.
