Lost Network/ Registry nuked on Windows 10

I have 2 laptops, one running on windows 7 and the other on windows 10, yesterday I loaded Norton Security, no problem with the Laptop on Windows 7, went on seamlessly.

Big problems with the Windows 10 Laptop, the Norton security program downloaded OK, but would not activate due a communication problem with Norton, Norton was unavailable, not only was it unavailable but it screwed up the network protocols and registry which lead to Google Chrome and Firefox not working ( unable to access the internet ).

I phoned Norton for support, they tried a few things and could not resolve the problem, told me that it was a problem with my internet service provider, but this is clearly not so as Norton Security loaded first time and without fault on my Windows 7 Laptop.

Obviously Norton are still having compatibility problems with Windows 10, hopefully they are working on resolving this problem, surely I am not the only one who has encountered Norton's failure to run on Windows 10.

My Windows 10 laptop is shut down at the moment and will remain so, until Norton will come up with a patch or a solution to this problem in the near future, contacting them at the moment is a complete waste of time, because they have no answer to this problem, they just say its your ISP, its laughable! But I wasted most of the yesterday on this problem, frustrated is an understatement.
