Lots of Disk Usage with Norton 360 installed & up-to-date

I have Norton 360 on my fully updated(both Windows and Norton) and scanned-clean Win10 Home laptop. In recent DAYS, I've noticed that my hard drive(actually an M-2 SSD) is pretty constantly active, even when I have basically nothing running nor 'in the background'.  I've tried looking at Task Manager to see if it shows any process as using the disk excessively, and strangely enough, it does NOT!  It still makes me nervous as I know that these 'modern' SSD's have a limited number of lifetime read/writes, and all that disk activity makes me nervous! :|

Does anyone have any clues/tips/solutions (short of Completely uninstalling Norton 360, which isn't really a good option)?

Thanks much in advance!

p.s. I happen to be a disabled(from strokes) I.T. Pro, so I can generally follow complex instructions/tasks :) Tks!(Al)

Update: I rebooted in Safe Mode and I heard the hard drive going again at first, but it stopped after about 30 seconds..... Time to sart selectively uninstalling programs I guess.... :|

Update,
After many(>5) hours of being on my pc today, it finally at least ‘quieted’ down, yet the hard drive light is still constantly flickering like something is accessing the hard drive.
I had the idea that I could restart in safe mode to see if it persists or not(I’m betting it wouldn’t, but…)
