I have installed NIS2009 on five computers so far and one thing I've noticed is that on Vista SP1 the trusted percentage is well over 80% and on all four XPSP3 systems it's just about 20%. For example in XP I have several svchost.exes running and none of them is trusted. I think that's strange because it's one of the most common windows processes. Other common not trusted processes on my computer are explorer.exe, iexplore.exe (IE7), msmsgs.exe (Live Messenger), rundll32.exe to name a few. Is this normal behavior? I've seen tutorial videos of Norton Insight where for example the svchost.exe is trusted and read on forums that people have reached over 80% trust level on XP, so what's different with my systems?
P.S I have the trust level set in standard.
