Today I got a message from NIS saying that there was a problem with a Live Update and that I would have to remove NIS with the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool and then reinstall it.
I followed the instructions to a T, but now when I get to the step to sign into my Norton Account in order to download NIS again, I get a webpage claiming that my subscription is expired.
I have NIS on two other PCs on this same subscription, and both of them state, correctly, that I have 171 days left on my subscription. What gives?!?
Please, someone from Norton/Symantec tell me EXACTLY what I need to do to get this third PC to download and reinstall NIS properly.
It had the "latest and greatest" version of NIS on it -- the one with the hideous "modern" white interface and which no longer includes the Network Security Map.
