Hi. Two days ago downloaded Norton 5, including norton 4 and installed 4 cos have snow leopard on mac. Open Firefox 19 and get message, "This version of Firefox is not supported by Norton Confidential. You will not be protected while browsing the web. Norton Confidential cannot protect you while you use this version of Firefox. Phishing Protection requires Firefox 1.5 or later", yet the version I'm using is latest update.
I've read previous thread on this. Re-downloaded Firefox so norton can recognise it. No change. Any thoughts. Installing Norton and getting it to work is becoming a nightmare. This is the second problem I've had to sort. Makes me remember the reason I gave up Windows . . so I could escape antivirus! Foolishly decided to "clean the machine".
