Mac Pro 10.6.8 Norton 12 won't install

Very green on anything technical, especially with a family member's MAC PRO. got an anti virus disk from an ebay supplier, here in australia but after trying to install cd it says cannot install because system incompatible? it's a 2 yr. old MAC. 10.6.8 and "anti virus for MAC" won't work. did ebay supplier send me wrong product?

Antivirus 12 is only compatible with OS X 10.7.  You need to install Antivirus 11, which should be included with the Antivirus 12 package you bought.

This is correct. NAV 12.x will not install on Mac OSX 10.6.x. However, there ought to be a NAV 11.x install included within the disc or disc image you purchased. Othewise, you'll need to upgrade to OSX 10.7.x in order to install NAV 12.x.
