macOS Sequoia 15.0 Crashing due to Norton 360

Issue abstract:
macOS Sequoia 15.0 crashing several time per day.

Detailed description:
While doing ordinary tasks like Messages, Mail, Safari…the system will stop responding and reboot itself within 15 seconds. The crash dump shows Norton to be the task that crashed:

I am having the same issue. It is crashing more than once during a session. Trying to remove to reinstall is getting a: “The application “Norton 360” is hosting system extensions. These extensions will be removed if you continue.” but I do not know what this means or if it will interrupt normal operations…

Uninstall using the uninstall function. Restart (reboot) your computer and see if the problem goes away. Then make sure nothing is running in the background, no games, office, etc. Reload with a fresh copy of Norton 360 for Mac. see if that works. Should it work you are fine. I have Sequoia 15.0.1 and am fine right now. Otherwise, ditch Norton, get Bitdefender and it should be fine. What are your resources such as memory and it could be you are using too many things. I have Norton 360 for mac, version 24.9.2, Apple M1 chip, 8 Gig Ram
